The bonsai garden center
Near Psakoudia, approximately 5km in the inland you can visit the newly opened biggest garden center in Greece with a very interesting bonsai- section. On over 100.000 sm you can see plants of all kinds.
As the Greek climate is very mild and warm you can see many plants, which in other countries would not survive the cold winter or are totally unknown. A trip not only for tourists with the green thumbs but for the whole family.
The complex with the bonsais contains selected and awarded bonsais, which can be viewed and photographed. There are bonsais, which are valued over 10.000 € and are over 100 years old. The owner has been to many competitions with his "trees" and has brought home many prices.
