Entry requirements for dogs:

Since the first October 2004 the "regime for the movement of dogs, cats and ferrets between Member States and from third countries into the EU (EC) No. 998/2003" also applies to Greece. It serves mainly to unify the health provisions in the EU countries and the common fight against rabies.

Therefore you have to take the EU-pet passport with you at the entry with the dog to Greece. Furthermore dogs have to be marked and easily identifiable by a well readable tattoo (only valid until 3rd July 2011) or by a microchip (transponder). A valid rabies vaccination is necessary. The primary vaccination has to be at least 21 days old. Please note the validity date of the vaccination, which the manufacturer recommends.
