Preparation
Soak the bread for the meat batter. Meanwhile mix the minced beef with the chopped onion, the egg and the parmesan. Slice the bread in small pieces and mix it with the minced meat mixture. Strongly season with salt, pepper and paprika. For the filling, chop the peppers, the olives and the cheese and mix them.
Put the meat batter between two layers of cling film roll well 1.5-2 cm thick and sprinkle with the cheese mixture. Here at the edges ever freely leave about 2 inches.
Now roll up the film with the help of the short side of caution. To fold the edge and then pull up the foil carefully, so that it unrolls from the roll practically alone. The upper and lower end need a little push.
Wash the potatoes and cut into thin shell with (max. 1 cm) columns.
Grease a tin with the olive oil and place in the middle of the meat roll. Around it distribute the potato wedges and sprinkle them with salt, pepper and oregano according to taste. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
Put the ham slices around your meat, the fact that they completely cover the surface. Gently push the edges under the roast.
Cover the plate with roast potatoes and now put it in the oven for about 35-45 minutes. Thereby turn the potatoes occasionally and see that the meat is not too dark on the surface - in this case, put some aluminum foil over it.
